Career Objectives

I'm looking for an engaging role in the biotechnology field that is team-focused and allows me to use my skills gained working in industry and within the MMB program.  A consulting role would be a good fit, especially since work at Kineticos Life Sciences and Industry Practicum projects in the Microbial Biotechnology program have well prepared me to succeed in consulting. However, I'm also seriously considering Project Management and Supply Chain roles, especially given the interesting needs in supply chain caused by the growth in cell therapy. I also love learning about and working with novel technologies and biologics that harness biology to fulfill critical needs.

What's an MMB?

Most MS programs don't focus on business along with science, creating a need for more well-rounded professionals.  The Master of Microbial Biotechnology Program is a Professional Science Master's focused on viewing issues in biotechnology from both a business and science perspective.  A key part of the program is in developing the soft skills to be able to communicate well and be a liaison between scientists and businesspeople.
